Transurethral treatment - Step 2 (TUTs2 - TURP/TURBT)
This intermediate transurethral treatment training course is the second step in the Transurethral Treatment (TUT) curriculum. It is designed to provide urologists with a fundamental understanding of transurethral resection of the bladder and prostate and enhance their skills. This comprehensive training is specifically tailored for urologists who want to improve their proficiency in resection techniques. Experts will lead participants through the resection on state of the art models, ensuring a familiarity with the process, recognition of the equipment and how to handle it, and an understanding of best practice for the procedure.
Training aim
The primary objective of this course is to enhance participants’ skills in transurethral resection of the prostate and bladder, focusing on key aspects such as depth perception, hand-eye coordination, control, handling, and overall technique. By the end of the course, attendees should feel more competent and confident in performing this procedure.
